Chelsea have identify the only player they want from Juventus in Emerson swap deal.
Juventus have been chasing Emerson for several months and the full-back has left out of starting XI at Chelsea under manager Frank Lampard.
Chelsea are thought to be open to the idea of selling the Italian left-back Emerson in the next transfer window and Corriere dello Sport claim the Blues have already turned down one proposal from Juventus.
The Serie A giants are trying to drive down the asking price for Emerson after Chelsea tag a £37million price on the defender.
The Serie A giants were prepared to let De Sciglio join Chelsea in exchange for Emerson, but the London club have their eye on another one of Juventus’ players.
Alex Sandro has long been linked with a transfer to the Premier League, with Manchester United previously credited with an interest in the Brazil international.
The 29-year-old is Juventus’ No.1. left-back and is valued between £36m and £45m by his club.
Chelsea are prepared to return to talks if Juventus offer up Sandro, with Lampard eager to secure a new left-back.
However Ajax star Nicolas Tagliafico and Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell has also been mentioned as a possible target.
