AC Milan are still hoping to bring a defender in before the end of the January transfer window with one name remaining on pole, a report claims.
According to reports that even though Milan were not expected to make any moves for the attack, news has emerged that Marko Lazetic is very close to joining from Red Star Belgrade in a deal worth €5m.
The paper adds that once the attack has been bolstered, Milan will focus on looking for a new centre-back and it is Eric Bailly that is the first name on the Rossoneri’s wish list, because he would bring experience and physicality.
The negotiation with Manchester United to bring the Ivorian to Italy continues, with a loan formula being discussed, but it also cannot be ruled out that the management could decide to invest in a profile with high potential who is under 23 and can grow without pressure.
