Arsenal have now shown interest in 18-goal PL star; Klopp thinks he’s ‘unbelievable’:- report

Arsenal are interested in star forward Jarrod Bowen, with 90min reporting that West Ham plan to offer the forward a new contract to stave interest from a host of Premier League sides.

Bowen looks set to make his England debut this month. It would be a reward for a phenomenal season in which he established himself as one of the Hammers’ most important players.

He scored 12 goals and provided 12 assists in the Premier League. Meanwhile, he managed 18 goals in all competitions as David Moyes led his side to the semi-final of the Europa League.

90min reports that West Ham are now set to offer Bowen a new contract. And that news may catch the attention of a number of top-flight rivals.

Reports have previously claimed that Liverpool want the 25-year-old. Jurgen Klopp has previously labelled Bowen an ‘unbelievable‘ player.

But 90min adds that Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have all shown interest recently. Newcastle are also admirers of the former Hull City man.

Arsenal interested in Jarrod Bowen

In truth, few Arsenal fans will hold out any hope of Bowen ending up at the Emirates. There is a lot of competition. And the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea can offer Champions League from next season. He is also a boyhood Manchester United supporter.

You would imagine that the Hammers would be just as determined to hold onto Bowen. And with that, it is hard to see any side offering the kind of fee West Ham would consider.

He would be a brilliant signing for Arsenal as he heads into his peak. But Gunners fans will be under no illusions that it would be a huge shock if he ended up at the Emirates.
