Chelsea have offered players to both Inter Milan and Sevilla as they pursue an exciting double deal this summer, according to reports.
Thomas Tuchel hopes to add Romelu Lukaku and Jules Kounde to his squad in the final month of the transfer window.
Chelsea are yet to make any significant signings in the summer transfer window, with just over three weeks left until the August 31 deadline.
Tuchel will want reinforcements after guiding the Blues to Champions League success in his first season in charge.
However, the club are working on two notable additions in key positions to end the window with a flourish.
According to football.london, once Lukaku’s arrival is complete, Chelsea will turn their attention towards Kounde.
Sevilla valuation stands at £50.9m (€60m) due to Kounde’s reputation as one of Europe’s top young centre-backs.
Football.london report Chelsea have offered players as part of potential deals for Lukaku and Inter to chop the transfer fees down.
Tuchel will also want to cut his squad, with a bloated 42 players reporting to the Cobham training complex on Monday.
However, both clubs have clarified that would they prefer cash alone rather than any part exchange.
According to reports in Italy, Chelsea have offered three different full-backs as part of a potential deal for Lukaku.
Marcos Alonso, Davide Zappacosta and Emerson Palmieri have all been used as a makeweight in the talks for the Belgian striker.
Meanwhile, Spanish reports claim Chelsea offered £29.7m plus Kurt Zouma for Kounde.
The La Liga outfit rejected the approach, though, searching for more money for their most prized asset.
The latest reports suggest Chelsea are willing to pay Inter a straight-cash fee to re-sign Lukaku this summer.
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea are ready to pay £93.3m (€110m) for the 28-year-old’s services.
However, Inter value Lukaku at £101.7m (€120m), so a compromise worth around £97.5m (€115m) may have to be negotiated.
Chelsea have already had two offers for the Belgian ace turned down this summer after making him their priority target.
The Blues’ last bid was worth £85m (€100m) plus Alonso, but it seems they are open to increasing that to get a deal done in the next few weeks.
