Chelsea transfer boost as 48-goals in a season striker open to Club exit after receiving ‘several’ offers

Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski is open to leaving the German champions in the summer transfer window, reports suggest.

Lewandowski has spent seven glittering years at Bayern where he has won a whopping seven consecutive Bundesliga titles as well as the 2020 Champions League trophy.

According to AS, however, the star striker is open to a “changing of scene and facing new challenges” after Euro 2020, where he will be representing Poland.

The 32-year-old also believes this is the “perfect time to get to know another culture and another league “.

If Lewandowski does decide to leave Munich then he would attract plenty of offers as he is already targeted by Premier League teams.

Manchester United are looking for a centre-forward, even though Edinson Cavani signed a contract extension recently.

Premier League champions Manchester City are also searching for someone to replace record goalscorer Sergio Aguero, who recently signed for Barcelona.

Chelsea are on the lookout for a striker as well after winning the Champions League with Timo Werner failing to convince in his maiden season at Stamford Bridge.

Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be involved, even though they have plenty of quality in attack with Kylian Mbappe and Neymar leading the line.

However, Real Madrid could also get embroiled in a potential bidding war if they fail to sign Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaaland.

Real came very close to signing Lewandowski from Dortmund in 2014 but Bayern narrowly won the transfer race.

The Polish ace has always wanted to play for Los Blancos as he considered a move to the Santiago Bernabeu as a “dream” transfer.

So much so that his representatives at the time even offered to pay a €20million (£17m) fine to break away from Bayern shortly after signing with the Bavarians in 2014.

Lewandowski gave the green light but Real’s president Florentino Perez dismissed the idea.

Nevertheless, the Poland international has a contract until 2023 with the German champions, who are very reluctant to sell him.

Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea set to battle it out for Atletico Madrid forward

Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea are all set to battle it out for Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix.

Felix has endured a difficult start to the season for Atletico and is yet to score in five starts in the league.

Last season wasn’t much better for Felix, only managing 24 league starts.
With competition up top including French international Antoine Griezmann, Felix is often used as a rotation option under Diego Simeone.

Now, according to Fichajes, a move to the Premier League could be on the cards, with Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal all interested in signing the striker.

Both Manchester United and Chelsea will need to find a long-term replacement for their current first-choice strikers.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are both reaching the latter stage of their careers for their respective clubs, so bringing a player with a similar age profile to Felix would be a smart move.

A move to Arsenal may not benefit Felix’s development as much, with Gabriel Jesus performing exceptionally well for the North London club and still only 25 years old.
