Club ready to agree deal if Man Utd bid £62million

Manchester United have not reinforced the squad in the winter transfer window and the time is running out.

The Red Devils have been linked with several quality players and for some time, the name of Federico Valverde has been on their wish list.

According to Spanish source, Nacional, Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti is prepared to sacrifice the Uruguayan international who is not happy with the playing time he is getting at the Bernabeu.

The Catalan outlet have mentioned that club president, Florentino Perez, has been given the green light to sell if Man Utd move in with a suitable bid for the 23-year-old. It is stated that the Los Blancos are asking for a fee of 75 million euros (£62million).

If the transfer goes through then Valverde would be following in the footsteps of fellow South American, Angel Di Maria, who left the La Liga giants to move to Old Trafford.

In the current campaign, the former Penarol midfielder has made 24 appearances for Real Madrid but he has only started 14 times in all competitions.

Rangnick desperately needs reinforcements this month, particularly in the center of the park. In your view, should Man Utd bid £62million to sign Federico Valverde?
