Defender ready to agree Man Utd move if they double offer as the Reds ready to offer a new three-year deal to Star

Raphael Varane may finally leave La Liga giants Real Madrid and his next destination could be Manchester United.

Last weekend, The People reported that the French international is hoping to agree a move to the Red Devils in the summer transfer window.

As per the latest reports going on in the media, he wants a mammoth new contract to complete the move.

According to The Independent, Varane is ready to join Man Utd if they are willing to offer him an enormous contract worth £400,000-a-week.

The famous British outlet have claimed that the Les Bleus defenders wants to leave the Bernabeu outfit for Old Trafford because he thinks that after 10 years in the Spanish capital, it is now time for a new experience.

The 28-year-old will be out of contract in 12 months and obviously, the Los Blancos would not want to lose him for free in 2022.

As per a recent report covered by The Athletic, the 13-time European Champions could sell their superstar central defender for a fee of £45million.

In all fairness, the above mentioned price is very low (in today’s inflated market) for someone who has won major prizes for both the club and country.

Currently, Varane is earning a very low salary of £90,000-a-week and Man Utd have already tabled an offer that will make the Frenchman earn £200,000-a-week i.e 12 million euros a year (Mundo Deportivo).

However, as mentioned by the Independent, the former Lens defender is pressing to agree a deal worth £400,000-a-week. So, he wants Man Utd to double their contract offer.

Manchester United ready to offer new three years deal to star.

Manchester United are set to offer a new contract to attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard.

The 28-year old is going to enter into the final year of his deal with the Red Devils.

The club has to decide whether they want to cash in on him or award him a new contract.

According to Daily Star, the 20-time Premier League champions have put forward a three-year contract on the table for Lingard.

The fresh deal will raise his wages to £130,000-a-week from £110,000-a-week wages which he earns currently.

Just like other deals, it will also have a clause to trigger a one-year extension.

Lingard has been a great servant to the Red Devils. He has massive respect for the club and its supporters.

However, at the age of 28, he needs to move to a club where he can play regularly.

He had a tremendous season at West Ham where he scored nine goals and registered four assists in 16 Premier League games.

The England international proved to be a catalyst for David Moyes’ side which qualified for the European football in this coming season.

The six-month stay with the Hammers has shown that he can be a key member of a team that allows him to play every week.

Lingard failed to break into Solskjaer’s XI with Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba and Mason Greenwood ahead of him in the pecking order.

United have been strongly linked with the arrival of Jadon Sancho this summer.

This will further increase the competition for attacking spots, limiting Lingard’s game time even more.

His inspiring performances for the London club has aided his stocks to rise and this might be the perfect transfer window for the Red Devils to sell him.
