Jadon Sancho ‘mocks’ Cristiano Ronaldo after joining in with Matic and Fernandes joke

Manchester United players have spread some Christmas humour at their Carrington training base – although they seem to have taken aim at Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 36-year-old Portuguese sensation has been in superb form ever since touching back down at Old Trafford.

Indeed, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has already scored 13 goals this season and conjured up several moments for United and their dedicated supporters to savour during his second coming.

But even Ronaldo can’t seem to catch a break from some of his teammates.

Nemanja Matic poked fun at the former Real Madrid and Juventus star after beating his team during one training session at Carrington, while Bruno Fernandes also weighed in and that particular pair have now been backed up by £72.9million summer signing Jadon Sancho.

In an Instagram post from the official Manchester United profile, a post tagged Matic with the caption: “Winning team. Cristiano are you okay?”

Fernandes replied to that by ‘mocking’ his countryman as he coined his trademark ‘Siiuuu’ celebration and Sancho has since jumped on board, as well.

Alongside mischievous and fire emojis, the England forward replied: “Easy dub.”

After their last two matches were postponed due to a Covid-19 outbreak, United are poised to return to Premier League action vs Newcastle on Monday night (8pm) – and one might expect a few apologies from those above if that man Ronaldo scores the winner at St James’ Park.
