Jesse Lingard reaches Man Utd transfer decision after public Ralf Rangnick warning
Jesse Lingard’s Manchester United contract is set to expire at the end of the season and according to the latest reports, negotiations over a new deal are at an impasse
Jesse Lingard intends on seeing out the remainder of the season with Manchester United, encouraged by the appointment of interim boss Ralf Rangnick.
The 28-year-old’s contract is set to expire at the end of the current campaign and talks between the two parties are now at an impasse.
Lingard spent the second half of last season on loan with West Ham, where he enjoyed a rejuvenative spell under David Moyes.
It was widely expected that he would then complete a permanent exit, but he would remain at Old Trafford, with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer publicly welcoming him back into the fold.

But those opportunities failed to come to fruition and he has played just 267 minutes in all competitions.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Lingard felt misled by Solskjaer, who had assured him of more chances in the starting XI.
In total he has made just two starts all season, with his latest coming under new boss Ralf Rangnick against Young Boys last week.
United would prefer to sell the midfielder in the January window, knowing they are set to lose the England international for nothing in a matter of months
