Maguire becomes England’s top-scoring centre-back after San Marino heroics
Harry Maguire has become the highest-scoring centre-back in the history of the England national team.
This comes after he scored the opener for the Three Lions in their dominant 10-0 win over San Marino on Monday.
Maguire managed to surpass John Terry and Jack Charlton (both 6 goals) to set an impressive goal-scoring record.
Harry has now also scored more goals for England than he has for any club in his career.
Being at the age of 28 and a regular for the national team, the centre-back now has the chance to further improve his tally in the coming years.
The Man United captain has now scored in consecutive games at the international level and seems to have rediscovered his confidence.
