Man United ‘mostly agree’ personal terms with Jadon Sancho as official bid awaiting

Manchester United have mostly agreed personal terms with Jadon Sancho ahead of a potential summer move, According to reports in Germany suggest.

Sancho is believed to be United’s top transfer target, despite reported interest in both Erling Haaland and Harry Kane.

The Red Devils tried, and failed, to sign the English wonderkid last summer after refusing to pay his £108million asking price.

Borussia Dortmund have now reportedly lowered their asking price significantly, and are said to be ready to accept a fee in the region of £80m.

United are expected to fork out that fee, and it’s been claimed that the interest in a deal is mutual between both parties.

Sancho’s representatives met with United officials last summer to discuss a potential deal.

It was reported at the time that everything was agreed between the player and the club, only for the deal to fall through when the two clubs couldn’t agree a fee.

And German outlet Sport1 claims that because of those negotiations, a deal this summer won’t be tricky.

However, the same report claims United are yet to make a formal bid for the winger.

Sancho has met up with the England squad ahead of the upcoming European Championships, and it’s reported that he wants his future sorted out before the tournament begins.

He reached a gentleman’s agreement with Dortmund last year after the Bundesliga side refused to let him go for less than £108m.

That agreement was for Sancho to stay another year at the Signal Iduna Park before leaving in the 2021 summer transfer window if a suitable deal comes across.

Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc recently confirmed: “We already had a gentlemen’s agreement with Jadon last year that he can switch under certain conditions.

“He’s been with us for a couple of years. However, this agreement does not exist with Erling [Haaland].”
