Reinforcements needed at Old Trafford
If their 1-0 defeat to Wolves at Old Trafford last Monday evening showed anything, it was that reinforcements are desperately needed at Manchester United, now under the tutelage of Ralf Rangnick.
The players looked disinterested, with the best performer (Phil Jones) on the day having not played a senior minute in almost 2 years.

Disjointed in midfield and attack, but boasting a squad of star names, something isn’t adding up in Manchester, as prolific goalscorers Edinson Cavani and Cristiano Ronaldo are starved of service by former superstar talent Jadon Sancho and prodigious starlet Mason Greenwood.
It seems as though January has been earmarked as a potential time for midfield reinforcements, with Nemanja Matic still the first option from a bench on which Donny van de Beek remains, looking on.
But first, United have agreed another departure from Carrington.

On loan at Swansea for the first half of the campaign, Laird will now help Bournemouth fight for promotion from the Championship back to the top-flight under the tutelage of Scott Parker.
In an official statement, Bournemouth CEO Neill Blake revealed:
“Ethan is an exciting prospect and we are very pleased to have brought him on board. His style of play fits perfectly with ours and I’m confident he can help us build on what has been an excellent first half of the season.
“He has impressed during his two previous loan spells and is very well thought of at Manchester United, so we couldn’t be happier to have secured his services.”
