Man Utd ‘full agreement’ with Varane, wait on Kane, and PSG’s brutal Pogba banner

Manchester United’s pre-season hasn’t got off to the greatest start; Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side struggled past Derby County before conceding four to QPR on Saturday afternoon.

However, off the pitch, they’ve been fantastic.

The Red Devils finally landed Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho after a two-year-long pursuit culminated on Friday with the winger joining United for £73million on a five-year deal.

However, United are from done in this transfer window, and rumours linking Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane continue to persist as they look to sure up the defence.

And IduSport have rounded up all the day’s dealings.

‘Full agreement’ with Varane

Varane looks set to be United’s second big signing of the summer, as they look to add more defensive courage as they were thin on the ground without Harry Maguire last season.

Spanish outlet AS are reporting that an agreement has been in place between Varane and United for weeks, however, it contradicts Sky Sports’ report that personal terms are yet to be finalised.

Varane’s wage demands are yet to be met by Real, and his contract expires next summer.

Tottenham Hotspurs are hoping they can lure Manchester City into a bidding war with the Red Devils as Harry Kane looks set to leave North London this summer.

City are favourites to land Kane, but they see the £160million asking price as too much, according to The Sun.

Tottenham are hoping that United will move for their star-striker as they look to initiate a bidding war.

PSG fans display brutal banner

PSG fans have displayed a brutal banner outside of the stadium after news broke that Paul Pogba is close to joining the Parisian side.

“Pogba you should listen to your mother,” the banner that is hung up outside of the Parc des Princes read. “She doesn’t want you here. Neither do we.”

The French side could land Pogba for as little as £45million this summer.
