Mourinho was sacked with 26 points from 16 games — Solskjaer could fall short of that
It has been almost three years since Jose Mourinho was sacked as a manager at Manchester United by the Glazers.
The Portuguese, who had lost the dressing room, was relieved of his duties in December 2018 after picking up 26 points from 16 Premier League games.
Interestingly enough, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could fall short of that record even though his position as a manager at Old Trafford appears to be safe until at least the end of the current season.
The Norwegian would have to win three of Man United’s next five games in the Premier League just to be on the same number of points Mourinho had when he was dismissed (currently 17 points from 11 games
