Ralf Rangnick is delighted we will see the ‘best possible Paul Pogba’ when the France international returns from injury next month.
Paul returned to first-team training at Carrington on Monday and impressed the manager with his performance after two months into the year and Ralf is pleased with Paul’s commitment to the cause.
“Well yesterday it was the first training session after two and a half months of injury and in that training every moment we play 6v6 or whatever we did in the rondos he showed that he is an exceptional player and that he can do it contribute a lot to the team when he’s focused,”
Ralf told us in his exclusive pre-game interview. “I had a long chat with him for over an hour after training, a very good chat.
He was engaged until the end of the season. “He explained to me that he wants to be the best Paul Pogba possible.
” Games with Brentford and West Ham will come too soon for Pogba but Rangnick is hoping his number 6 will be available in February as United face crucial games in the Premier League, Emirates FA Cup and Champions League.
“Yes, I’m looking forward to having him available for three competitive games in two weeks after the international break,” added the German.
“Like I said, what I saw in practice yesterday was incredible: a very good level of physical, emotional and technical performance. Now it’s all about proving it and getting it out on the field once it’s fully available.
