The Joint admissions And Matriculation Board(JAMB) has announced that the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will kick start on 12th, February 2022 -19th march 2022. And here is the simple steps to register for Jamb 2022 UTME.

However,if you have a functioning one you won’t bother to create one again.

2.Get your NIN available for your jamb 2022 registration
The use of National Identification Number (NIN) for UTME registration was introduced in 2020,NIN was later canceled in 2020, but the use of NIN has been reintroduced since then.
National Identification Number NIN is necessary for all mobile phone users and all Nigerians.

The joint admissions and Matriculation board has made it a crucial requirement as failure to provide it will deny you or disqualify you from registering for JAMB UTME Examination.
You will not regret enrolling in NIN since it is important for Scholarship applications, bank documents and many others. The earlier you register NIN, the lesser the pressure you will encounter during jamb registration.
3.Create A JAMB profile
JAMB profile creation is one of the major requirements for both UTME and DE candidates.
To create a 2022 JAMB profile,the candidate will send his or her National Identification Number (NIN) by text to 55019 on his or her GSM number.
Check out the example below. (NIN 12345678900). You will then receive a profile code of 10 characters which Will be used for your registration.
NOTE: NIN is 11 digits.JAMB profile is important. Apart from using it for registration. You need Jamb profile for other thing like Jamb online result checking, Admission status checking, printing of Admission letter, Jamb change of course, Change of Institution and Accessing Jamb caps.

4.check JAMB 2022 Ibass
JAMB Ibass will show you your eligibility status for your chosen institution and program.
5.Purchase JAMB 2022 E-PIN
After getting your email, profile code your next step is to purchase a JAMB E-PIN from the bank which is the most common method, although there are many alternatives to this, you can pay through your phone, ATM, remita and even through jamb portal
To get your E-PIN in the bank,you will be required to fill up a deposit slip in a JAMB authorized bank.
To pay through your phone that is using USSD, follow this process.
Press 5656*55019#Enter your profile codeSelect your bankThen the E-pin will be sent to that phone number after complete payment.

To use remita, candidate will visit Login.remita.net/remita ,then you select your registration type either UTME or DE under name of service/purpose column, provide your phone number, that’s the phone number used for profile creation,then you complete other information.The pin will be displayed on your receipt.

To use jamb portal for payment, follow this steps.
1.Visit the JAMB website: jamb.gov.ng,
2.Click on Purchase of 2022 Application Document,
3. Enter your Profile Code.Select payment method (InterSwitch or Remita).
Then Make payment, E-PIN will be delivered to the candidate’s unique telephone number.
6.Visit a JAMB Accredited center
Only JAMB accredited centers are allowed for registration,you are to locate one nearest to you.
This is where you will complete your registration.you are to provide some details like the course you want to study and institution,and O-level.
Go For biometricsBiometrics of your four fingers will be taken by jamb.this is done while still in the jamb center.
7.Collect your JAMB 2022 slip
After a successful registration,you will be given a JAMB slip containing all your details such as name,date of birth, chosen program and institution, exam center and others.
Collect your JAMB materialsThe joint admissions and Matriculation board normally gives candidates some materials after a successful registration.
This materials include:
1.e-brochure,showing guidelines on admission, showing list of tertiary institutions and available courses.
2. Syllabus now (e-syllabus), for the examination.
4. A video message(Disc) from JAMB and a demo on how to use eight (8) keys for the UTME examination without a mouse.
